Did your school receive a passing grade?

This week, the State Board of Education released preliminary grading on elementary and high schools throughout the state. These grades are subject to change.

Search your school from the over 1,800 listed to see the preliminary letter grade it received and what percent of the points possible it earned.

The grades were calculated on a point system that includes categories like "Proficiency," "English Language Learners," "Growth," and "Acceleration/Readiness."

You will see that some schools received an "Under Review" or "NR" grade.

A grade that is "Under Review" means that a school either filed an appeal or has a "non-typical school configuration." An "NR" grade stands for "Not Rated" due to insufficient data.

The preliminary letter grade given to each of the schools was given by the State Board of Education. The percent grade was calculated using detailed point data.
