PHOENIX — It’s official!
Sunday marks the 34th time this year that Phoenix reached a high of 110° or more, breaking the previous record of 33 days set back in 2011.
Not only did the most 110°+ days occur this year, but the most 90°+ lows happened in 2020 as well.
We’re not done yet with this extreme heat, either!
Our latest forecast has highs at or above 110° through next weekend, meaning we may have AT LEAST 40 days of temperatures this hot in Phoenix.
FULL FORECAST: Hot and dry! Heat Warnings in effect!
