PHOENIX — An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was injured by a hit-and-run driver in the west Valley Thursday morning.
DPS says a vehicle struck a trooper around 5 a.m. near Interstate 10 and 91st Avenue and fled the scene.
Officials are in the area searching for the suspect.
DPS says the trooper suffered minor injuries in the hit-and-run collision.
No further information was immediately available.
