A pedestrian was hit and killed early Thursday morning in the southeast Valley.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred near 113th Street and Hunt Highway around 4:40 a.m.
The pedestrian, only identified as a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved remained at the scene and an investigation is underway to determine what caused the crash.
