If the injury is as bad as it looked, the Washington Nationals' postseason chances may have just taken a serious hit.
During the first inning of the Nationals' game against the visiting San Francisco Giants, star outfielder Bryce Harper's leg buckled as he touched first base. The base may have been slippery following a three-hour rain delay.

After the game, Nationals manager Dusty Baker said Harper hyper-extended his left knee and will undergo an MRI on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Harper is a five-time All-Star and was the National League MVP in 2015. He is among the National League's leaders in batting average, home runs and RBIs this season.
