Boston Red Sox star and Arizona State alum Dustin Pedroia left Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles with a nasal contusion after hitting a ball that bounced off home plate and hit him in the face.
The scary moment happened in the fourth inning. Pedroia cleaned blood off his face with a towel as he left the game, according to ESPN.
