The Cardinals added an elusive quarterback and a speedy Arizona State cornerback to their roster just a couple days after the 2017 NFL Draft came to an end.

The Cardinals announced Tuesday that they've agreed to terms with 17 rookie free agents who went unselected in this year's draft. Among those signees are Texas A&M QB Trevor Knight and ASU cornerback De'Chavon "Gump" Hayes.

Knight, a 6-foot-1, 215-pounder, played his first three collegiate seasons at Oklahoma before transferring to Texas A&M for his senior year. He threw 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions for the Aggies while rushing for 614 yards and 10 TDs in 2016. On the down side, he completed just 53.3 percent of his passes.

NFL.com says Knight "looks the part with a muscular, athletic build" but "is a longshot to make an NFL roster" due to his inaccuracy in throwing the ball. The Cardinals did not select a QB during the NFL Draft, much to the surprise of most fans and experts.

Katy Perry famously flirted with Knight during an episode of ESPN College GameDay in 2014.

Hayes is a junior college transfer who began his time at ASU as a running back but was converted to cornerback before the 2016 season. One of the fastest players on the Sun Devils' roster, he recorded 42 total tackles, three tackles for loss and three interceptions last year.

He can also jump very high.

Here's a complete list of the 17 rookies the Cardinals added Tuesday.
