Four days after the Phoenix Suns acquired DeJuan Blair in a trade that sent Markieff Morris out of town, the Suns announced they waived the 6-foot-7 forward/center.

The Washington Wizards traded Blair, along with center Kris Humphries and their 2016 first-round draft pick, to the Suns in exchange for Morris just minutes before Thursday's NBA trade deadline.

Blair has played for the Wizards, Spurs and Mavericks during his six-plus NBA seasons. He averaged 2.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 29 games in Washington this season.

The Suns now have 14 players on their roster.
