You're about to get two golden opportunities, as Phoenix Rising FC and FC Arizona have both announced tryout dates in the near future.
FC Arizona, which enjoyed an undefeated regular season in 2017, will hold open tryouts from Dec. 29-30 at the new Strikers Soccer Complex at 12347 S Sossaman Rd. in Mesa. Tryouts, which cost $100 per person, will include drills and 11-on-11 games. Each participant will receive an FC Arizona t-shirt and a ticket for the first game of the 2018 season.

Phoenix Rising's tryouts will take place Jan. 25-26 at their home field, Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex at 751 N McClintock Dr. in Scottsdale. A total of 22 players from the Jan. 25 and 26 tryouts will be invited to compete against a Major League Soccer team on Jan. 27
Phoenix Rising's tryouts will be by invitation only and will be issued after team staff evaluates all applications. The tryout fee is $150, which includes two guaranteed practice sessions, a Phoenix Rising t-shirt and a ticket for a future Phoenix Rising game.
