Phoenix Suns forward Jared Dudley is facing a steep fine after a confrontation in Tuesday's game against the Washington Wizards.
A Thursday release from the team stated Dudley must pay $35,000 for "escalating an altercation" and making contact with Wizards center Jason Smith.
Wizards guard Brandon Jennings has also been fined $35,000 for "making menacing gestures" during the same incident.
Both Dudley and Jennings received technical fouls and were ejected during the second quarter of the game.
The Suns went on to lose 131-127 in the home game.
