On Tuesday, the Arizona Coyotes finalized the relocation of their minor-league affiliate to Tucson. As such, the team needs a new nickname -- and it's asking for your help to come up with one.

With the Tucson City Council approving a new lease agreement at the Tucson Convention Center, the Coyotes have the go-ahead to move their American Hockey League club from Springfield, Massachusetts to the Old Pueblo. But the team's current nickname of "Falcons" just doesn't seem to fit in the desert.

So, the Coyotes announced the creation of a contest to name the team upon its relocation to Tucson for the 2016-17 season.

The winner won't just get to name the team; he or she will also receive a pair of lower-level season tickets for the yet-to-be-named team, along with a team jersey and access to a 12-person suite at a Coyotes home game during the upcoming season. The value of all prizes is approximately $4,200.

The contest runs through May 31, and the winning entry will be announced June 7.
