Former Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek is reportedly in contention for a head coaching position with multiple teams and an assistant coaching job with another.
On Monday, ESPN NBA insider Marc Stein reported Hornacek, whom the Suns fired midway through the 2015-16 season, is among the candidates for the Knicks' head coaching position.
The Knicks, league sources say, have interviewed Jeff Hornacek for their coaching job along with Kurt Rambis, David Blatt and Frank Vogel.

Stein noted Hornacek is a candidate for nearly every vacant head coaching job available, including in Houston, Memphis and Orlando.
Also on Tuesday, Stein said Hornacek may be in the mix for an assistant job with the defending NBA champions.
Sources say Golden State also has strong interest in Hornacek to join the Warriors' bench next season if he's still on the market by then.

Hornacek posted a 101-112 record during his two-plus seasons as Suns coach, and he was runner-up for NBA Coach of the Year in 2013-14. He was drafted by the Suns in 1986 and went on to play six seasons in Phoenix.
