The Chicago Cubs' 2016 World Series championship was their first world title in 108 years.

According to Las Vegas, Cubs fans might not have to wait nearly as long for the next one.

The Cubs will enter Spring Training play with 9/2 odds of winning the 2017 World Series, according to Bovada. The Cubs will begin Cactus League play on Saturday, Feb. 25, and they'll hold a World Series celebration for fans in Mesa the night before.

But the Cubs have company at the top of Vegas' list, as the Boston Red Sox also have 9/2 odds to win the 2017 title. The Cleveland Indians, who lost to the Cubs in last year's series, are right behind the Cubs and Red Sox at 8/1.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals are both 10/1 to win it all in 2017, and the San Francisco Giants are 12/1.

As for the Diamondbacks? Vegas gives them a 100/1 chance to win their second-ever World Series title. This isn't a surprise, as the D-backs are coming off a disappointing 69-93 season that saw their manager and general manager fired at season's end.

On the plus side, six teams have been given worse odds than the D-backs to win it all: The Reds, Brewers, Twins, A's, Phillies and Padres are all 150/1 heading into the spring.

Reno Sportsbook has put the Cubs' 2017 regular-season over/under win total at 95.5 games. The Indians are at 92.5 while the Dodgers are at 91.5 and the Red Sox and Nationals are at 90.5. The D-backs are at 78.5.
