How do the Cardinals replace Jerraud Powers?

I'll be honest... I'm gonna miss Jerraud Powers. Not just his presence in the secondary, but his presence in the locker room as well.

Intelligent guy, always good for a great sound bite, and always available to shoot the breeze. There was a decent chance the Cardinals would re-sign the veteran cornerback, but as of today, that's officially not in the cards. **pardon pun**

It was announced this afternoon the free agent signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens, reportedly worth $1.75 million. With that signing, the Cardinals have some big shoes to fill in the secondary.

Yes, they picked up two corners in this year's draft, but they're as green as the turf they hope to play on. The Cardinals' third round pick, Brandon Williams, has played the position for just one season at the collegiate level.

How about Justin Bethel? The guy that has the best chance to take Powers' starting spot. He's also in unfamiliar territory. Bethel only played corner a handful of times in college. So his short time filling in for injured Cardinals last year was really his first true introduction to the position.

It's pretty concerning when you consider Patrick Peterson on one-side...

Honey Badger doing what he does...

You think Brady, Rodgers, and Newton won't attack the weak spot?

That said we hope for the best, and Jerraud, you will certainly be missed.
