If you're like me, you're trying to figure out why the Arizona Cardinals' 2016 season has gone south.
Well, after much thought, conversation and debate with other cardinals fans: This is the reason.
It's the curse of the Sports Illustrated cover! Look what SI did to us this year. They definitely jinxed us!
There's no other explanation for this 4-6-1 record. We had it made this season. The Cardinals are coming off a 13-3 season, a trip to the NFC Championship game, an Amazon documentary and Larry Fitzgerald on the cover of Sports Illustrated with the quote, "Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals will feel the glow of their first Super Bowl win."
So why, do you ask, did they have to do that?
My thoughts exactly!
But then again, the players made the mistake of reading the press clippings and watching the documentary. Big mistake!
