A big game between two nationally ranked teams -- not to mention an appearance by ESPN College GameDay -- is certainly a special occasion.
The No. 16 Arizona Wildcats have decided to mark the occasion by debuting new helmets for their showdown Saturday with No. 9 UCLA in their Pac-12 opener in Tucson.

The helmets are a variation of the red lids the team debuted three years ago.
The Wildcats hope the new helmets will bring them some good luck against the Bruins, who have beaten Arizona three straight times. Before the game, the Cats will host ESPN GameDay for the first time since 2009.
UA has opened the season 3-0 thanks to a 77-13 stomping of Northern Arizona last Saturday.
