Things went from bad to worse for the Arizona Wildcats on Monday when coach Rich Rodriguez announced star linebacker Scooby Wright III will miss several weeks of action with a right foot sprain.

Wright suffered a knee injury in the Wildcats season opener that forced him to miss three weeks of action. He returned to the field Saturday against UCLA but was mostly ineffective.

Rodriguez also announced quarterback Anu Solomon suffered a concussion during Saturday's game that knocked him out of the game. Solomon's status for this weekend's game at Stanford is uncertain.

The Bruins beat the Wildcats 56-30 in Tucson in a game that brought ESPN's College GameDay show to town.
