The Arizona Wildcats are a No. 6 seed in the 2016 NCAA Tournament and will face the winner of 11 seeds Vanderbilt and Wichita State in the tournament's first round on Thursday.
UA (25-8, 12-6 Pac-12) will play in the tournament's South region and will open tournament play in Providence, Rhode Island. The game will begin at about 7 p.m. and will be televised on TNT.

If the Wildcats win that game, they'll face the winner of No. 3 seed Miami (FL) and No. 14 seed Buffalo on Saturday. Bobby Hurley was Buffalo's head coach before taking the same job at ASU heading into this season.
Under seventh-year head coach Sean Miller, Arizona finished tied with Cal for third in the Pac-12 behind Oregon and Utah, respectively. On Friday, UA fell to the Ducks 95-89 in overtime of the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals in Las Vegas.
Miller has led Arizona to four Sweet Sixteen and three Elite Eight appearances since 2011, including back-to-back Elite Eights in 2014 and '15. But the Wildcats haven't advanced to the Final Four since 2001, when they fell to Duke in the national championship game.
