Four days after fracturing his right elbow in a head-first slide, Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock underwent successful surgery to repair that elbow, the team reported.
A plate was placed on the olecranon fracture at the tip of the elbow during surgery, the D-backs reported. There is still no timetable for his return.
Pollock's injury occurred on this play during Friday night's exhibition game vs. the Kansas City Royals.
