Cardinals release defensive tackle Cory Redding

Posted

The Arizona Cardinals released defensive tackle Cory Redding, the team announced Monday.

The 35-year-old Redding played in 12 games for the Cardinals last season and recorded 10 tackles, an interception and two fumbles, one of which was returned for a touchdown (Week 16 vs. the Packers).

Redding's post-touchdown dance was an homage to pro wrestling legend Ric Flair.

Redding, a 13-year NFL veteran, was set to make $4 million next season.
