One of the Arizona Cardinals' training camp stars and unsung heroes of the 2016 season will miss the remainder of the year.

Wide receiver Jaron Brown has been placed on injured reserve after suffering an ACL tear during Sunday's game vs. the Seattle Seahawks, Cardinals coach Bruce Arians announced Monday.

Brown was on pace to set career highs in receptions and yards this season. He had 11 catches for 187 yards and a touchdown through seven regular-season games.

The fourth-year pro played collegiately at Clemson and went unpicked in the NFL Draft, but he's been a member of the Cardinals since 2013, when Arians took over as head coach. He has 55 catches for 700 yards and five TDs during his four seasons in Arizona.
