Three years later, Arizona State converted yet another Hail Mary touchdown pass against the USC Trojans.
On the final play of the first half, Sun Devil quarterback Manny Wilkins completed a 47-yard touchdown pass to receiver Kyle Williams for ASU's first touchdown of the game. At first, Williams was ruled to be short of the goal line, but after review, it was ruled a TD.
The play cut USC's lead to 31-10 at halftime -- eventually, as ASU had to be retrieved from the locker room for the extra point. It was a rare bright spot in an otherwise tough evening for the Sun Devils, who went on to lose 48-17.

The play mirrored Mike Bercovici's game-winning TD toss to Jaelen Strong on the final play of ASU's game at USC in 2014.
