WOW! Talk about success breeding success!

The Arizona Cardinals have placed seven players on this season’s Pro Bowl Roster, the most for the Cardinals since 1977.

Congratulations to quarterback Carson Palmer, receiver Larry Fitzgerald, cornerback Patrick Peterson, safety Tyrann Mathieu, defensive end Calais Campbell, offensive guard Mike Lupati and special teamer Justin Bethel. Running back Chris Johnson has also been named an alternate.

This is just the seventh time in franchise history that the Cardinals have had at least seven players selected to the Pro Bowl in a single season. It’s also the first time they’ve had three or more selections on both offense and defense in the same season since 1970!

Any time you have that many players named to the Pro Bowl, it clearly means that the League and its players are taking notice and you’ve garnered a lot of respect from your colleagues. This is outstanding!

The key to this announcement is for the players to enjoy being named to the Pro Bowl, but to keep their eyes on the prize… the NFC Championship and a trip to the Super Bowl!

Tuesday's announcement comes on the heels of a dominating victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, when the Cards improved to 12-2 -- the first time they've ever won 12 games in regular-season play.

Congratulations are certainly in order!
