What was once a 22-team bubble at Walt Disney World is down to the final two, with Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat set to take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals.

Watch coverage of Game 1 beginning at 5:30 p.m. on ABC15! If you're looking for ABC15 News at 6, catch it live in our app on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and other streaming devices beginning at 6 p.m.

It's the first Finals matchup between the clubs, with the Lakers looking for a record-tying 17th title and the Heat seeking their fourth in the last 15 seasons.

The Heat spent much of Monday resting up before an evening team meeting would officially start their finals preparation process.

The Lakers, who won the Western Conference finals on Saturday -- a day before Miami finished off the Eastern Conference crown -- spent time earlier this week starting to get their game plan in order.

The series marks the 10th time in the finals for James, who is looking to bring the Lakers their first championship since 2010.

The Heat are hoping to cap a surprising season with their fourth crown, two of which came during James' four years with the team. They hadn't been back to the finals since James left.
