GLENDALE, AZ — The buzz around the Arizona Cardinals right now is bigger than it has been in years. Although picking up DeAndre Hopkins over the offseason in a blockbuster trade is a big reason, the focus right now is all on Kyler Murray.
After starting 2-0 on the season, Kyler Murray now sits tied for fourth in MVP odds, according to MGM.

Murray has been efficient passing, throwing for 516 yards and two touchdowns over the first two weeks, but the real buzz has been around his improved rushing game.
Murray’s 158 rushing yards on the season is ninth in the NFL, ahead of Melvin Gordon III, Lamar Jackson, and Cam Newton. He also has three rushing touchdowns and only two other players ahead of him with four.
KYLER MURRAY, ladies and gentlemen. He's finally using his legs to torment defense as well as his lightning release and magnum arm. Here come Kyler's Cards.

Those stats come in two games against San Francisco, the defending NFC Champions, and then the Washington Football Team which had 8 sacks in Week 1 against Philadelphia.
Right now Russell Wilson is first in MVP odds, with Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes close behind. Murray is currently tied with Dak Prescott for fourth place.
The Cardinals next three opponents are a combined 0-6 on the season, so don't expect Murray or Kliff Kingsbury's revamped offense to slow down any time soon.
