Friday, Phoenix Rising FC and Casino Arizona announced that Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex will now be known as Casino Arizona Field. The name change comes as a result of a multi-year deal for the naming rights of Phoenix Rising Sports Complex.
“This was our last sponsorship asset remaining,” Club Governor Berke Bakay said. “And one of the most important ones.”
Two years ago the club was set to play its first game ever in the stadium, and tomorrow night the club will play its first game in Casino Arizona Field.
“We had two sponsors exactly two years ago, and now this is [more than] 50,” Bakay said. “In order for any professional team to be successful, it is incredibly important to have the support of the community. And with that comes sponsorships.”
The club kicks off their home opener March 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Casino Arizona Field. The game, and every game, will be broadcast on Your Phoenix CW (channel 6 or 61.1).
