WADDELL, AZ — A baseball and softball instructor has been arrested in Waddell, accused of sexual assault against underage children he was coaching.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said 42-year-old Jack “Buck” Thomas was wanted for an arrest warrant out of California for multiple crimes of a sexual nature against children under the age of 18.

On Friday, MCSO and the West Sacramento Police Department served the warrant at Thomas's home in Waddell.

Thomas was located and arrested.

According to WSPD, at least one female victim was sexually assaulted within jurisdiction of MCSO after traveling to Arizona for softball training.

It’s unclear how many victims Buck may have assaulted.

Detectives believe there may be additional sexual assault victims within Maricopa County that have not come forward.
