Authorities say a father and his two young children have died after their plane crashed in southern Utah.
The Deseret News reports that Iron County Sheriff Mark Gower said search teams discovered the missing plane Monday morning in a rugged area of the county about 220 miles south of Salt Lake City.
Search teams from six counties spent Sunday looking for the single-engine plane after it went missing about 17 miles northwest of Pangtuich Saturday night.
Randy Wells and his children, 8-year-old Asher and 3-year-old Sara, were returning from a wedding in Phoenix.
Relatives say Wells' pregnant wife didn't make the trip to Arizona and was at their home in the Salt Lake City suburb of Sandy. Wells was a bishop of his Mormon congregation.
