Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the passing of two of its deputies Monday afternoon.
Officials say a 25-year veteran, Law Enforcement Sergeant Ernie Quintero and a 15-year-veteran, Detention Officer Kevin Fletcher passed away Monday.
Sgt. Quintero was assigned to the Court Security Division while Officer Fletcher was assigned to the Fourth Avenue Jail.
Their cause of death is currently unknown.
