Police in Kingman say a tanker truck caught fire Thursday afternoon near the Kingman Airport.
The Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District responded to the area of Industrial Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Thursday where they discovered a fuel tanker truck carrying diesel fully engulfed.
The fire spread to a small building and several vehicles located on the property, destroying the tanker and tractor trailer, a UTV, a small building, and one vehicle located near the fire.
Fire crews say they were able to get the fire extinguished and under control in one hour.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident is unknown and remains under investigation.
