Yet another pursuit in the Valley, but this time the driver ended up getting away.
Arizona Department of Transportation cameras caught some of the pursuit on Loop 101 and Interstate 17.
The Department of Public safety said a green SUV was initially caught in a speed trap, but when the driver wouldn't pull over the pursuit began.
The chase for the suspect started just before 10 a.m. and the vehicle made its way from I-17 at milepost 244, traveled southbound on I-17 and Dove Valley to eastbound State Route 101 as it approached U.S. 60.
For safety reasons, troopers kept their distance from the vehicle after their stop sticks failed at SR 101 and McDowell Road.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office thought the green SUV may have been located by Saguaro Lake, but later it was confirmed that was not the case.
DPS said the suspect is still at large.
