The Arizona State Lottery has a new director.

Gov. Doug Ducey appointed Gregory Edgar, whose resume includes more than 20 years in public relations, to the post Friday.

This comes more than two months after the previous lottery director, Tony Bouie, resigned following a Phoenix New Times article that found that he used a state vehicle on personal time.
