Pinal County Sheriff Deputies are investigating after a motorcyclist died in a tragic collision with a minivan at the intersection of Mountain Vista and Hunt Highway Saturday night.
Sheriff spokesperson Navideh Forghani said the woman driver of the minivan attempted to make a left turn into oncoming traffic and hit a 40-year-old man traveling southbound on his motorcycle.
Forghani said despite first responders lifesaving efforts when they arrived on the scene, the man died.
Impairment does not appear to be a factor at this time.
Traffic restrictions in the area have since been lifted.
