Navajo County Sheriff's officials said Sunday that a perimeter has been set up in Cibecue, Ariz., after another reported sighting of the suspect accused of setting fires and shooting at a forest official earlier this week.

The suspect accused of starting multiple brush fires and shooting at a forest service employee in Forest Lakes was spotted on Saturday, according to the Coconino County Sheriff's Office. Officials say the multi-agency team confirmed that the suspect was seen between 3 to 4 p.m. when he was dropped off by a vehicle in the area of Highway 60 and Cibecue Road on the Apache Reservation.

NCSO told ABC15 that a Cibecue resident reportedly confronted the suspect in his backyard around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. The suspect reportedly asked for food and water but the resident told him to leave and called for help.

Navajo County has K-9 officers, SWAT team and a major crime apprehension team working the perimeter with the help of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the FBI and White Mountain tribal police.

As of Saturday, the suspect was wearing the same clothes as shown in previous surveillance photos, a blue short sleeve t-shirt with a white long sleeve shirt underneath.

Officials say the suspect was seen carrying three bags and have learned that he mentioned that he was headed towards Mexico.

The public is advised to not approach this man if you see him and to contact law enforcement as soon as possible, he is considered armed and dangerous.
