Fire crews are currently battling a large brush fire in the Superstition Mountains.

Officials say the Sawtooth Fire is currently 24,729 acres and is 64% contained.

Tonto National Forest officials say 300 firefighters and overhead support responded to the lightning caused fire.

"While this fire is in the same area as last year’s Woodbury Fire, it is too early to determine its future size and intensity," said Mesa District Ranger Matthew Lane.
