The Arizona Department of Health Services has released a list of high-risk zip codes in Arizona for lead exposure.

Dozens of zip codes are included in the Valley, including parts of Avondale, Buckeye, Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix and more.

Cochise, Pinal and Pima counties also have a lengthy list of high-risk zip codes. Get a full list and more information from the department here.

Childhood exposure to lead can cause slowed development, organ damage, hearing loss, behavior issues and even death.

If you're concerned about your child's health, the department suggests starting off by taking a quick questionnaire. If you answer yes or aren't sure of the answer to any of the questions, your child may benefit from a blood test.
