Gov. Doug Ducey is honoring first responders in Arizona.
Ducey will issue a proclamation designating Sunday as First Responder Appreciation Day.
The governor says first responders put their lives on the line every day to help all Arizonans.
He says he is grateful for their selfless service.
The proclamation singles out fire emergency medical services, law enforcement, 911 dispatchers, search and rescue crews and other organizations in public safety.
