PHOENIX — A woman was taken into custody after a pursuit on Loop 202 Tuesday night.

The Department of Public Safety says the incident started when a woman called 911 to report a female driver was trying to hit her car while driving eastbound on I-10 near Broadway Road.

A short time later, the caller told troopers the woman's vehicle had struck her car multiple times. DPS was able to track down both vehicles on Loop 202 and witnessed the woman driving erratically.

Officials tried to stop the woman and a brief pursuit ensued. Troopers eventually stopped the driver on Loop 202 near Val Vista using a device called a Grappler Bumper.
