Officials have located the remains of a woman at the Grand Canyon.
The National Park Service said the body is believed to be Diana Zacarias, 22, of Natchitoches, Louisiana.
The 22-year-old was reported missing by family members on April 3. She arrived to the South Rim via the Arizona Shuttle on April 2 and was dropped off at the Maswick Lodge.
The remains have been transferred to the Coconino County Medical Examiner for positive identification.
NPS and the medical examiner are conducting an investigation.
