Carvana, the Tempe-based online used vehicle retailer, is seeking to hire at least 100 customer advocates in the next six weeks as the company experiences rapid growth.
The retailer expanded to 41 markets in 2018, according to regulatory filings, up from 23 the prior year. In the first three months of 2019, Carvana expanded to 24 new markets for a total of 109 as of March 31.
That rapid growth necessitates a continual need to hire for positions at its Tempe offices.
While Carvana is pretty much always hiring, the company has a big push on to hire employees to interact with customers via phone, email or online chat, said Adrienne Sanford, Carvana’s senior director of people operations.
