PHOENIX — The Arizona Lottery has hit a historic milestone — surpassing more than $1 billion in sales.
The annual instant-win and draw games sales have reached historic records, with a total of $1,001,306,034.
Lottery officials, retailers and beneficiaries are excited about the record-breaking news, especially with 26 days remaining in its fiscal year 2019.
Additionally, lottery revenue is on track to generate more than $72 million in retailer commissions across the state.
