Who doesn't love free? On Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. there is a free event called Sweet to the Soul Boutique at the Peoria Sports Complex.

Not only is admission free, if you get there early, you'll get a free swag bag! They're limited to the first 100 through the door.  They include treats and coupons and more! The event brings lots of rustic and vintage farmhouse decor, and other homemade items like soaps and bath bombs.  There are also direct sales booths with products from companies such as Gold Canyon Candles and Makeup Eraser.

"The best thing we love is that it's local vendors so we love to support local vendors," Jennifer Cluff, one of the organizers, said.

Two Valley moms got the idea for the boutique after they first launched a Facebook group selling handmade items.

The page took off and they decided virtual sales weren't as personal as in-person transactions. Now they have 200 vendors signed up for the event.  But it's not just for women.

"My husband really enjoys walking around because we have ASU signs and Cardinal signs and things for the man cave too,"  Lindsay Persons, one of the organizers, said.

As many as 3,000 shoppers are expected.  The gates open at 9 a.m. and the event ends at 4 p.m.
