Stardust Building Supplies is a non-profit discount building materials warehouse that has three Valley locations. Stardust takes tax-deductible donations of new and used building supplies and resells them, which means awesome deals for you. A lot of their stuff sells for 50% off retail price.
They have donated items brought in daily, so inventory is always changing. They mainly sell items that can be used for home remodeling like tile, doors, windows, lighting and the list goes on.
For example, I recently found supplies to build a solar oven and I found a window for just $5 at their Mesa location. Also the last time I was there, they had just received a huge shipment of chairs and they’re selling them for just $3 each.
Just because something is at Stardust Building Supplies does not always mean it is a great deal but there are great finds if you do your research.
Stardust is a non-profit so that means no sales tax plus you’re helping a charity by spending money at their stores. So it is a total win-win.
