Don't pay retail prices at the grocery store because there is so much on sale.

Our Smart Shopper team went through the ads and had our first sneak peek at the best deals in the aisles this week.

Fry's Food has a good deal on large Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith apples and navel oranges. Pay just 77 cents per pound.

Food City has a better deal on navel oranges, four pounds for a dollar.

You can also get four cucumbers or four green bell peppers for a buck.

And they have a great deal on breakfast. Buy two boxes of Kellogg’s cereal for $2.49 each and get a free gallon of milk.

Food City also has an awesome deal on eggs. Just $1.99 for five dozen medium eggs.

If you're looking for something smaller head over to Albertsons and get 18 large Lucerne eggs for $1.27.

Safeway has breakfast and lunch covered; Pay $1.99 for select varieties of Kellogg’s cereal, Skippy Peanut Butter and Smucker's Simply Fruit.

You can also grab a pound of red seedless grapes for 88 cents per pound.

That's a pretty good deal but Bashas’ has the best deal we've seen on red seedless grapes this week, 77 cents per pound.

If you love ice cream stock up at Bashas because they have a deal on Breyers ice cream. Buy a one point five quart and get two free.

And don't forget tomorrow is the first Wednesday of the month and that means seniors get ten percent off at Bashas, Fry's, Safeway and Albertsons.
