On Saturday, October 14, Desert Ridge Marketplace will have a no-cost recycling festival from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., or until the truck is full.
The Recycle Phoenix and Keep Phoenix Beautiful event will take place behind the AMC Theatres.
Bring things like: electronics, toys, bicycles, office supplies, plastic bags, canned food, clothes, golf balls and documents. Free document shredding will also be happening at the event.
Some items you'll want to leave at home are CRT TV's and monitors, single use batteries, household hazardous wastes like paint and tires and light bulbs.
