Freebie Friday: careers, concerts and ASU homecoming

Getting that perfect job sometimes starts with knowing the right people.

Career Exploration Day is the perfect opportunity for high schoolers to meet business partners for college, military, and technical schools.

There will also be giveaways with flash drives, several programs to help save time and money on college; which include secrets to getting scholarships and reducing tuition prices.

It's happening at Centennial High School, located at 14388 N. 79th Avenue in Peoria, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Tempe Marketplace has a fun concert series called Rock It Up!

You can enjoy full-length concerts for free. The first one is this Saturday.

Adelitas Way will be taking the stage.

They've performed with Guns n' Roses, Three Days Grace, and more!

There will also be a beer garden for the 21-and-up crowd.

Arizona State University is celebrating their homecoming this Saturday with a block party!

Tents will cover 14 acres of their old main lawn featuring games, photo booths, music, and more!

Kids will be able to get passports to collect stamps at tents to win prizes.

There will also be the homecoming parade; which travels down University Avenue with all sorts of floats, the ASU marching bands, and local celebrities.

ASU takes on the USC Trojans at Sun Devil Stadium at 7:45 p.m.
