It's important to note that most of these require you to register for birthday perks in advance with your favorite stores and restaurants, so you can receive the coupons in plenty of time. Typically, you should do so a minimum of four days prior, though some recommend, or, in some cases, require a month before.

Score a free makeup kit by being a Sephora Beauty Insider. You'll have two to choose from. These sets change yearly, but the current options include one set with eyeliner and setting powder or the other option that has a travel-size cleanser and moisturizer.

Dunkin' Donuts offers DD Perks, earning you points, free beverages and other special deals.
Enjoy a free welcome Original Glazed doughnut when you sign up to have Krispy Kreme Rewards. Then, on your birthday, enjoy a free doughnut, and free small hot or iced coffee. If you don't sign up for the rewards program, an employee told us that you can show your ID to redeem the freebies.

At Schlotzsky's, sign up for rewards through the app, and get a free small The Original sandwich, get $7 off with every seventh visit and refer a friend to get a FREE small classic sandwich, among other perks.
Fill out a form online to receive an email with a birthday coupon for a free, 16-inch pizza with one topping at Grimaldi's. That would normally cost between $18 and $21. An employee told us to encourage you to fill this out a month prior.
You can enjoy a free meal at Sweet Tomatoes with 20 percent off for your family. Just sign up for to be a Club Veg Member, and receive the coupon.
When you sign up online at Black Angus, you get a free dessert and a birthday coupon for buy a meal, get a meal. Though you have the option to sign up in person while dining at the restaurant, it's encouraged to do so online, entering your name, email and birthday. It takes up to 48 hours to get in the system. When you sign up online, you get an email for a free dessert. If you sign up in person, filling out a paper in the restaurant, you won't receive that email in time to enjoy the freebie that same visit. At Baja Fresh, join Club Baja and get $5 off your order and hundreds of dollars in savings each year. The website states you will also get a special treat each year for your birthday, but didn't specify what that is exactly. You must be signed up at least four days before your birthday. Otherwise, you'll receive the treat next year.
Benihana offers The Chef's Table, where you can receive news, special offers, and a complimentary $30 Benihana Birthday Certificate during the month of your birthday. There's a lot of fine print with this one. Click here for all the details.
