Valley grocery stores are fighting for your cash this 4th of July weekend with sales, sales and more sales. We got the ads early to give you a sneak peak of what to expect.
One of my favorite deals are at Albertsons. Eight ears of corn for a buck! It's a great deal because their regular price is three for a dollar. Buy an 18 count of large Lucerne eggs for $1.27, with a limit of two. Albertsons also has the best deal I found on Gatorade and Powerade, you can buy 12 32-ounce bottles for .44 cents each and you can mix and match!
Fry's has 32 ounce bottles of Gatorade on sale for .57 cents each but you have to buy 10 at that price, plus you can get a whole pineapples for .97 cents each with a limit of four. If you prefer soda, Fry's has four 12 packs of Coke, Pepsi or 7up for $8.88.
Bashas' has the same deal on Coke, Sprite and Dr. Pepper. While you're there, you can get red or seedless grapes for .77 cents per pound and a dozen of Bashas' large eggs for .88 cents. Bashas' also has 32 ounce bottles of Powerade for .59 cents each. There is no minimum to buy but the max is 30 for that price.
Safeway has whole seedless watermelon on sale for $1.88 each. You can also buy a gallon of Lucerne milk for $1.89, with a limit of two. Clip the coupon from their ad for a great deal on Popsicle Ice Pops at just .49 cents per box. That's half off their current sale.
Food City has peaches or nectarines on sale, two pounds for a dollar. You can get five pounds of cantaloupe for a dollar and they also have 32 ounce bottles of Gatorade on sale for .57 cents each, but you'll have to buy 12 to get that price.
And what about the beef? All of the Valley grocery store ads has tons of deals on meat. From ribs to ground beef and chicken.
So check your ads and don't forget to stack your coupons and make a list.
