Lightning possibly to blame in deadly Sun City fire, MCSO says

SUN CITY, AZ - An 89-year-old woman has died after her home caught fire during Monday night's storm. 

The condominium fire happened around 9:30 p.m. near Del Webb Boulevard and Thunderbird Road. 

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the woman was transported to the hospital where she later died. 

According to MCSO, the fire was possibly caused by lightning. 

The name of the victim has not been released.
