Peoria police are investigating after a crash overnight involving a truck.
The crash occurred near 91st Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
The truck crashed into a tree at a high rate of speed, ejecting the passenger, police say.
The passenger, a man, suffered life-threatening injuries during the crash. The driver, also a man, was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash has not yet been released but preliminary information shows speed and impairment could be a factor.
No arrests have been made at this time.
